SpringRole (“we”, “us”, or “our”) operates the SpringRole platform at springrole.io. This policy explains how we collect, use, and protect your personal information.

Information we collect

Account information

  • Name and email address provided at registration
  • Work pass type and job preferences (candidates)
  • Company name (employers)

CV and profile data

  • CV files uploaded by candidates (PDF or DOCX)
  • Parsed data extracted from CVs: job title, work history, skills, years of experience
  • AI-generated profile summaries

Usage data

  • Pages visited and features used
  • Application and job interaction history

How we use your information

  • To operate and provide the SpringRole platform
  • To match candidates with relevant job listings
  • To share candidate profiles with employers when a candidate applies for a role
  • To send verification codes and platform notifications by email
  • To improve our matching and CV parsing models

Data sharing

We share your data only as follows:

  • Employers receive candidate profile data (name, email, skills, work history, CV) when a candidate applies for one of their roles.
  • Service providers including our hosting provider (DigitalOcean), email provider, and AI processing provider (OpenAI) process data on our behalf under data processing agreements.
  • Analytics and error monitoring: With your Analytics & Performance consent, we use Google Analytics and PostHog to understand product usage and privacy-masked session replays. PostHog receives redacted warning and error telemetry to diagnose service failures; request bodies, CV content, emails, tokens, cookies, and other sensitive data are excluded. We use Sentry to capture and diagnose application errors; it excludes request bodies and redacts tokens from captured URLs.
  • We do not sell your personal data to third parties.

Data retention

We retain your account data for as long as your account is active. You may delete your account by contacting us at hello@springrole.io. CV files associated with deleted accounts are removed from storage within 30 days.

Security

CV files are stored in private object storage and are only accessible to employers who have received an application from that candidate. All data is transmitted over HTTPS.
